I have worked on a number of personal projects over the years, just for fun. Here are some of my favourites.
- I'm an HTPC (Home Theatre PC) enthusiast, so I wrote an open-source web-app using Flask which acts as an overview to your XBMC HTPC.
- I created a budget-tracking web app, imaginatively called Budget Tracker, when I couldn't find a web app that did precisely what I wanted (or did too much). It has a clean, simple UI, and allows multiple people to collaborate on a budget. It taught me quite a bit about Python and Django.
- When we needed to keep track of whose turn it is to choose lunch at work, I went a bit overboard and created Lunch Muncher.
- I write a food blog called Gastro-noms. Besides being a lot of fun to write, I get to play around with customising Wordpress.
- Sometimes I post photos. I'm still learning how to make them look good, though.
